2. The Data We Collect & Process

We classify data into two categories: Transient Data (processed but not stored) and Logged Data (stored for analysis).

A. Transient Data (Processed but NOT Stored)

Basketball/Performance Data: This includes player names, team names, and match statistics retrieved from PlayHQ via their public API.
- How we handle it: This data is fetched and processed in real-time to generate your analytics dashboard. Once your session ends or you close the page, we do not retain this data in our databases.

B. Logged Data (Stored)

Input Data: Data you manually input into the Service (e.g., team ID searches, specific configuration parameters, or feedback forms).
Technical & Usage Data: Includes internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting, operating system, platform, and clickstream data regarding how you use our website.
Identity & Contact Data (Conditional): We do not collect names or emails for service usage. We only process this data if you voluntarily provide it by contacting support or making a donation (e.g., via a payment processor).

3. How We Collect Your Data

Direct Interactions: You may give us Input Data by using the search and configuration features of the tool.
Automated Technologies: As you interact with our website, we automatically collect Technical and Usage Data about your equipment and browsing actions.
Third Parties (PlayHQ): We fetch transient data from PlayHQ APIs solely for the duration of your analysis session.

Client-Side Storage

We use browser sessionStorage to temporarily cache organization data during your session to improve performance and reduce server requests. This data is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab and does not contain personal information. sessionStorage is a standard browser feature that stores data locally in your browser for the duration of your session only.

We will only use your data when the law allows us to.

Service Delivery: To generate the analytics you request in real-time (using Transient Data).
Service Improvement: We analyze Logged Data (Usage and Inputs) to understand how the tool is used, fix bugs, and improve functionality.
Legal Compliance: To comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

Legitimate Interests:

We rely on Legitimate Interests to process PlayHQ public data for the purpose of generating analytics for you. Since this data is not stored by us, the privacy impact is minimized.

Donation Records: Retained for 6 years for tax and accounting purposes (if applicable).
